This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm within the fandom. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to trainers developing firm views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them worry even more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a performance. As a Archer personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small jester” is countless.
